NEW MODEL!
O SCALE EXTENDED VISION CABOOSE
In April, Atlas O, LLC will release a brand new model- the
Extended Vision Caboose. Available in 2-rail as well as 3-rail, these
ready-to-run cabooses have state-of-the-art detailing and construction. Some of the fine
features include true 1/4" scale dimensions and details, fully decorated illuminated
interior with hand painted crew figures, die-cast chassis, all metal grab irons, flashing
warning light on rear of caboose and full underbody details. The 3-rail version has
die-cast articulated couplers. And as always, the paint schemes are accurate and
prototypically correct. All decorated cars come in two road numbers per road name except
for the Limited Edition-Burlington Northern.
Prototype Information:
This model is based on the extended vision cabooses that were constructed by
International Car. Co. for the Reading and Chesapeake & Ohio railroads in 1970.
However, it is representative of the thousands of similar cabooses that could be found on
many railroads throughout the country.
