O 50' PS-1 DOUBLE DOOR BOX CAR
Like our popular single door model,
Atlas O’s NEW 50' PS-1 Double Door Box Car represents the classic
American railroads of the 1950's and 1960's, where fifty-foot box cars
became the standard. Many major railroads owned Pullman Standard's box
cars, but details were specific to the railroad. One such detail that
was different was the door style used on the car.
Atlas O's authentic new model captures
this feature with two different door styles (Youngstown or Pullman) as
per the prototype. Built in true 1/4" dimensions and details, the
new 50' PS-1 Double Door Box Car will be ready for service on your
layout.

- Highly detailed ABS body
- Etched metal roofwalk
- 50-ton Bettendorf or 70-ton roller-bearing sprung
die-cast trucks as per the prototype (70 ton
roller bearing trucks come with rotating bearing caps)
- Youngstown or Pullman Standard style doors as per the prototype
- Scale 15' door opening (7' & 8' doors)
- Separately-applied grab irons, ladders and brake line details
- Minimum diameter curve: O-31 (3-rail)
- Die-cast articulated couplers (3-rail)
- Kadee-compatible scale couplers (2-rail)
