O SCALE 6-BAY CYLINDRICAL HOPPERS &
33,000 GALLON TANK CARS
In October, Atlas O, LLC will be releasing new road
names for the very popular 33,000 gallon tank cars and 6-bay cylindrical hoppers.
Available for the first time in 2-rail as well as 3-rail, these ready-to-run freight cars
have state-of-the-art detailing and construction. Some of the fine features include true
1/4" scale dimensions and details, realistic see-through roof walks, separately-
applied grab irons, die-cast sprung 100-ton roller-bearing trucks with separately-applied
brake detail, die-cast articulated couplers as well as accurate, prototypically correct
painting and lettering. In addition the 6-bay cylindrical hopper has five inlet roof
hatches that open and six outlet bays. All decorated cars come in two road numbers per
road name except for the Demonstrator Cars which have one road number per road name.
